Brooklyn dreampoppers Paperwhite graced DC9 on Thursday, and Paivi shot pix of the band on the opening night of their Be Here With Me Tour.

On record, Paperwhite consists of Katie and Ben Marshall. The siblings released new singles in 2017, following their first two EPs, Magic and Escape. Paperwhite have been preparing a third EP, teasing singles “Human Nature” and “Only Us.”

On tour, Katie appeared without Ben, who is also a member of Savoir Adore, on Thursday, instead replacing him with a female touring member we couldn’t readily identify. (Update: From Katie: “Our drummer that night was DC’s very own Isabelle De Leon!” [of Prinze George]…)

As of today, Paperwhite are on a brief break before picking up four more dates beginning in Pittsburg on Feb. 20. It’s worth your time to see Katie on the road with or without Ben!
