Fueled by a new album, The Go! Team is returning to the United States for the first time in five years, and they are performing in DC at the Black Cat on Sunday, Jan. 24.
The band’s live lineup features original members Ian Parton, Ninja, and Sam Dook, joined by newcomers Cheryl Pinero, Maki, and Simone Odaranile.
In March 2015, The Go! Team released their fourth studio album, The Scene Between, via Memphis Industries, making a change in direction for the collective. Ian has taken it upon himself to write, perform, and produce all tracks himself, striving to capture feelings through a DIY spirit.

NYC art punk Glockabelle, born Annabelle Cazes, opens for The Go! Team. As she plays a lyre-shaped glockenspiel with eight thimbles and two Casio VL-Tones, Glockabelle should be an intriguing act to see!
