Lodewijk Fluttert, better known as Bakermät, came to Echostage on Friday, April 7 with a partner for a live set filled with saxophone solos!

Bakermät and friends delivered a great show for his Good Vibe Tribe tour. It was an enchanting set filled with his notable tracks from the Dutch DJ and some of his unreleased material. The Dutchman had the crowd in their “feels” and kept moving to the rhythm!

The show was more spacious than I expected for the lineup but that added to the excitement…THAT.. MUCH MORE! The crowd capacity was around 30 percent (you missed out!) and the entertainment was on 100 percent as the slightly more spacious venue was the perfect dance floor for this smooooooth melodic night.

The performance was amazing on so many levels — Bakermät, the man himself, did wonders throughout the set from the blending and smooth transitioning of tracks. The whole thing was made more amazing by the intimate saxophone solos from Ben Rodenburg, and the production team as always does an amazing job at Echostage (without saying).

Check out the sexy sax sounds from Ben as he and Bakermät make it happen in this clip from Friday:

Bakermät is known of course for his deep and tropical house with jazz vibes. “One Day (Vandaag),” his first big hit across Europe in 2013, has an amazing sax solo. And he’s kept the vibe alive in his recent singles such as “Living” featuring Alex Care; “Dreamreacher,” featuring Dumang and Chevrae; and his latest “Baby,” which samples “Don’t Leave Me This Way” by Thelma Houston.

The talent was immense and we couldn’t have asked for a better show.

EDMit it rating: 8.5/10

…. So why, 8.5???
The small crowd? Nope.

The only downside is that it had to end!

See you on the dancefloor!
