Hey everybody welcome back! This week I had the pleasure to review the high energy, banana-enthused duo DadaLife! The Swedish duo, Olle Cornéer and Stefan Engblom, took D.C by storm at Echostage on Saturday, and I was delighted to be apart of what will surely go down as one of the most eventful, jaw dropping shows I’ve reviewed this year thus far!

The night was set in stone as Dada Life prepared us with their rules to their themed performance called “Dada Land”! This sign was posted in the front entrance of Echostage:

The house giants came with a flurry of classic hits spanning from their 10+ year span in the industry. Kicking off the night with high energy, the crowd was hardly aware of what was to come ahead…

In the words of Gwen stefani “this $#!% is bananas.. b-a-n-a-n-a-s”!

Playing songs off of their hit album The Rules of Dada to thrill the audience as they set up with floaties going about the audience they would add another prop to top their prior stunt and up the anty!!

Pillows were scattered throughout the audience and it was a spectacle to watch the “Happy violence” throughout the crowd as the hit song played and cotton gushed through the screams of joy! It wasn’t over yet however Dada Life had another trick up their sleeve as they decided to end Dada Land in Championship fashion!

EDMit it rating: 9/10

This show is the first show I’ve ever given a rating this high due to the all around performance, the props were phenomenal, the lasers were out of this world👽, transitioning and music selection was ideal!

EDMit it tip:
– Wear shades

Until next time see you on the dancefloor

-Jasper of EDMit it

“Admit it, EDMit it, get it…”
