As we mentioned earlier, Working Order Records, the record label of DC synthpop duo Technophobia, threw a benefit show for House of Ruth at Black Cat on Saturday, Aug. 19. A few other bands joined the show, and we got some pix of synthwaver Void Vision from Philadelphia.

Void Vision aka Shari Vari storms the synths when she performs as one-woman band Void Vision. Prior to joining the benefit show on Aug. 19, she most recently played in DC on May 11, opening for Adult. at DC9. (Read our Parklife DC review of the May 11 show.) You can catch her next in her hometown at PhilaMOCA with Adi Newton and Rodney Anonymous (the frontman of the Dead Milkmen in a solo elecdtronic project — whoa!) on Oct. 15. Buy tickets today!

We’re sure Shari will return to DC soon. Meanwhile, here are a couple of pictures of Void Vision performing at Black Cat on Aug. 19, 2017. All photos copyright and courtesy of Paivi.
