Singer-songwriter Hayley Fahey and her sweet and soulful voice will play the DC Music Rocks Festival at 9:30 Club on Saturday, Sept. 2, alongside other local acts including Throwing Plates, The Split Seconds, Stone Driver, and Thaylobleu. The evening festival is an unparalleled opportunity to catch a lot of local music in one spot at the city’s top club during a long holiday weekend.

DC Music Rocks is a live radio show and podcast airing on 96.7 FM. It’s also a DC artist database, a local music show calendar, a collection of local music playlists, and more online at http://www.dcmusicrocks.com.

Hayley is a multi-instrumentalist who draws from blues, folk, country, and rock, and she often performs with her bandmates as the Hayley Fahey Band. Watch the official music video for “Good Kind of Crazy” by Hayley Fahey Band on YouTube:

Joining Hayley on the bill are folk-rockers Throwing Plates — James Britton, Jamie Boyd, and Doug Imhoff — who released their self-titled debut album in 2016.

Consisting of vocalist Drew Champion, drummer Sean Peterson, bassist Stephen Parsons, and guitarist Alex Massi, punk garage rockers Split Seconds also will perform Saturday, as will Stone Driver, a DC group that straddles the genres of grunge, blues, and psychedelia.

Rounding out the lineup is Taylobleu, consisting of frontman Terence Nicholson, bassist Bill Vaughan, guitarist Durl Purry, and drummer Joe Hall.
