We usually give away tickets to see a show at 9:30 Club on Wednesday, but we have a special *Monday* ticket giveaway this week as well!

The Reverend Horton Heat release REV, the band’s most recent album, in 2014, but the trio are back in the studio working on a new record with a new drummer, Arjuna “RJ” Contreras. Meanwhile, Jim, Heath aka Reverend Horton, will bring the band to 9:30 Club for a show on Sunday, Dec. 3. You can win tickets to see The Reverend Horton Heat with Parklife DC!

Although the rockabilly trio haven’t published a new record in the last three years, The Reverend Horton Heat have released a few singles, including the amusing “Hardscrabble Woman.”

Watch the official music video for “Hardscrabble Woman” by The Reverend Horton Heat on YouTube:

  1. I totally dig The Reverend Horton Heat. Plus, my parents introduced me to Dale Watson, being big fans of his and soaking up the Austin music scene while living there for 25 years. It’s hard to choose just one favorite Reverend Horton Heat song but some of my tops are “Wiggle Stick,” “Bales of Cocaine,” and “Baby I’m Drunk” … pretty much all the vices …
