Andrew Fetterly Wilkes-Krier, better known as Andrew WK, released You’re Not Alone, his fifth studio album, via Sony Music in March. He will tour the new songs at 9:30 Club on Sunday, May 20, and you can win tickets to go with Parklife DC!

Forever known as the Man Who Likes to Party, Andrew WK has made a good party album indeed, according to Classic Rock magazine.

“You’re Not Alone is Andrew WK’s enormous, and enormously stirring, maximal synth-metal soundtrack to the struggle, and were it any bigger it’d develop its own moon. Orchestral crescendo crashes upon power riff upon gargantuan chant chorus upon show-stopping fanfare; it’s like listening to the Polyphonic Spree getting blitzed on super-strength Kool Aid to old Mötley Crüe records,” wrote Mark Beaumont.

  1. Andrew WK is the best! Highly recommend going to go see him, even if ya don’t win the tickets! He is so inspiring, insightful, and kind. Party on!

  2. Actually my favorite track of his is Linda Linda from his Japanese covers album. But if I need a fun karaoke song Party Hard is a classic!

  3. Unequivocally “Let’s Go On A Date.”

In this masterful ode to courtship, Mr. W.K. emerges from the shadows of his self-doubt to ask a very special someone out for a night on the town.

He proposes that they go “to a night-club, to a restaurant, to a movie and then to [their] place and maybe third base and maybe outer space” – an ambitious, yet time-honored, first-date itinerary.

  4. Definitely has to be The End of Our Lives! Too awesome to NOT rock out to. The Wolf is a phenomenal album overall. Partypartypartypartyparty
