Aura Spa last week introduced its new skin care services for men, incorporating Organic Male OM4 products as the brand’s exclusive outlet in DC.
In a reception at the VIDA Fitness U Street location (1612 U St. NW, DC), Elaine Perhach, General Manager of Aura Spa at VIDA Fitness & Aura Spa, hailed the new services as “skin fitness,” akin to physical fitness services at VIDA Fitness.
“It falls in line with the results you will see here at the gym. You are going to see the results in your skin care as well,” Elaine said.
The Aura Spa locations at U Street and Metropole for now are the exclusive DC locations for OM4 male skin services. (Find Aura Spa Metropole at 517 15th St. NW, DC.)
The men’s skin care services include two new facial experiences. The Fitness Facial and Endurance Facial target men’s skin with the OM4 skin care system, which address the requirements of a variety of skin conditions ranging from oily, sensitive, dry, to normal. After making an appointment, a client receives a four-step facial treatment, along with a face and upper body massage, which starts with a cleanser, followed by an after shave splash, serum, and moisturizer.
The Fitness Facial, a 60-minute treatment, is designed to keep men’s skin in optimal shape and retails for $130. The Endurance Facial, a 75-minute treatment, targets anti-aging, acne, and sensitive skin, at a cost of $150.
Organic Male OM4 is designed to help men battle a multitude of issues including: fine lines, dark circles, breakouts, large pores, redness, dehydration, razor bumps, ingrown hairs, wrinkles, sun damage, and more. The marine-based products are eco-friendly, cruelty-free, and free of parabens, SLS, and harmful chemicals, according to the company.
