In March, The Faint issued deluxe editions of their ground-breaking dance albums Blank-Wave Arcade (1999) and Wet from Birth (2004) via Saddle Creek! Around the same time, The Faint performed some concerts on a West coast tour.
Now, The Faint return to the East Coast with some fall dates that include a show at 9:30 Club on Tuesday, Nov. 18. Hercules and Love Affair open!
In recent live performances, The Faint apparently are performing three new songs — “Projector Project!,” “Isolation,” and “Time to Panic.” In October, The Faint released “Projector Project!” as as surprise single, their first new release since 2019’s Egowerk.

In addition to the new songs and tunes from Blank-Wave Arcade and Wet from Birth, The Faint are revisiting their most famous album, Danse Macabre (2003), in concert.
The Faint really set a future pop tone with dark lyrical content delivered by frontman Todd Fink’s warbly voice with Danse Macabre and tracks like “Agenda Suicide.”

The Faint last performed at 9:30 Club way back in 2019 on their Egowerk tour, and so it’s been a while since they have visited our city! As if that weren’t exciting enough, The Faint have enlisted Hercules and Love Affair to give the evening to give the evening even more dance-magic vibes!
The collaborative rotating door of personalities that makes up Hercules and Love Affair has always been a broad church. Ringmaster Andy Butler says he has only one consideration when assembling a new line-up for a pristine phase of his epic musical journey through the dynamics of past, present and future night-life. “The key to the Hercules project is that I don’t want people coming to the table with nothing to say.”
To date, Herculse and Love Affair have released five studio albums, beginning with their 2008 self-titled debut and most recently 2022’s In Amber.
