Modeled after the hugely successful Key West Songwriters Festival, the largest festival of its kind in the world, the Annapolis Songwriters Festival brought our love for music to the Chesapeake Bay for its 2024 edition!
Like Key West, Annapolis has its own world-renowned watering holes and intimate theater settings, making Maryland’s historic capital on the bay the perfect location for live music enthusiasts to get acquainted with the faces, voices, and stories behind the songs.
Steve Satzberg recently shot many performances around 2024 Annapolis Songwriters Festival for Parklife DC.

The festival took place Sept. 12-15 throughout Downtown Annapolis, with artists performing at the City Dock stage located in Downtown Annapolis at Susan Campbell Park. Free events occurred in bars and restaurants throughout Downtown Annapolis along the Songwriters Trail from Westgate Circle to City Dock.
Other ticketed venues include Rams Head On Stage, MC3 Annapolis, and Maryland Hall.
Headliners for the 2024 Annapolis Songwriters Festival included Lee Brice, Citizen Cope, and JJ Grey & Mofro. Among other big artists appearing were Marc Cohn and Drew Holcomb & the Neighbords.
