As we went on a trip, GIVĒON at The Anthem in DC was filled with raw emotion and unforgettable moments. From the shadows cast across the stage to the warm amber tones that bathed the room, the atmosphere felt intimate like we were all part of something deeply personal. This concert was such a vibe from start to finish.
The live band and the two background vocalists who accompanied GIVĒON elevated the experience, filling the venue with rich, soulful sound waves that wrapped around the crowd like a warm embrace on Oct. 30. GIVĒON is such a powerful performer each song sounded just like the recording, but with even more depth. You could tell that certain tracks transported him back to the moment he wrote them. His vocals carried authentic emotion, and his connection with the audience was undeniable.
There was a moment during “I Can Tell” when GIVĒON stopped singing and let the crowd take over word for word. He smiled and told us we were the loudest crowd of the entire tour a moment that felt like pure magic. The energy in the room was electric.

Everyone came dressed to impress. One young woman wore a custom outfit covered in GIVĒON’s photos her pants were practically a walking tribute. The crowd was stylish, expressive, and clearly devoted.
One of the most iconic moments of the night was when GIVĒON recreated the legendary James Brown move walking off stage with his coat draped over his shoulders, only to return moments later, toss it aside, and dive right back into the music. It was theatrical and nostalgic.
From the vocals to the visuals, the crowd to the charisma, GIVĒON’s show at The Anthem wasn’t just a concert it was a shared experience, a night of vulnerability, soul, and celebration.
