Gareth Daley is best known by the name Daley, and Christian Berishaj is better known by his stagename JMSN (pronounced “Jameson”). The two alternative R&B singer-songwriters have teamed for a tour, and Daley and JMSN perform at 9:30 Club together on Friday, Feb. 1.
In 2017, Daley released The Spectrum, his sophomore full-length album, while JMSN released Velvet, a new studio album, in September via his own White Room Records.

For This Is RnB, Raquelle Harris hailed Daley as the next big thing for R&B.
“When you envision next level R&B, Daley is the prototype. His sophomore album, The Spectrum is a reflection of soul-baring intensity, saturated with honesty, love, and a bit of pain. The UK singer/songwriter’s tender, yet firm vocals ride a potent mix of soul, funk, pop, and electronica,” Raquelle wrote.
And in a review for GoldenPlec, Sasha Brady compared JMSN to Justin Timberlake.
“It would be tempting to compare JMSN to Timberlake, especially Timbaland-era Timberlake but that’s a bit of a cop out. Take that comparison and add a dash of D’Angelo, a mix of Mary J. Blige and a pinch of Prince and you’d have a better sense of his soundscape.
He can just about do it all as a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, mixer, and sound engineer and he isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty, choosing artistic freedom over stardom. His music is released through his own label, White Room Records; he writes and produces his albums and directs the videos that accompany his songs. He’s also worked with a rake of artists from Kendrick Lamar, to Kaytranada, Freddie Gibbs, Game, J.Cole, and Ab-Soul among others,” Sasha said.
