Belgian electronic body music pioneers Front 242 are celebrating the band’s 40th anniversary with a USA tour that included a headline performance at the 2022 Cold Waves Festival in New York City.

Ben Eisendrath caught the industrial legends in a show at Warsaw in Brookland, and he photographed the show for Parklife DC!

Front 242’s Jean-Luc de Meyer said in a statement that this tour will be the final North American tour for the band.

At Warsaw on Sept. 15, Front 242 drew from across the band’s catalog to play hallmark industrial tunes that drove festival goers to dance the night away! The band remains best known for classics like “Headhunter,” “Welcome to Paradise,” and “Body to Body.”

Front 242 continue their USA tour through Oct. 9, when they wrap it up in Denver, Colorado. Catch them while you can!

Chris Connelly and Paul Barker of Revolting Cocks opened the show, calling themselves “The Revolting Corpse,” apparently? Parklife isn’t sure what’s up with that.
