Following the release of his new album, I’ll Always Come Find You, Blxst launched his 2024 I’ll Always Come Find You Tour. This 30-city North American tour recently stopped at The Fillmore Silver Spring.

At The Fillmore Silver Spring on Oct. 19, Blxst hosted special guests Leon Thomas and Joony as his opening acts. Blxst’s collaboration with Leon Thomas on the “Crash & Burn (Remix)” and features from Joyce Wrice and Joony on his new album highlight the diverse sounds fans can expect on this tour.

Blxst, born Matthew Dean Burdette, is redefining West Coast hip-hop, fusing rap, R&B, and production into a signature sound that has earned him critical acclaim. Since 2019, Blxst has collaborated with the likes of YG, Nas, and Snoop Dogg, with his breakout solo EP No Love Lost propelling him into the spotlight. His hit single “Chosen” went platinum, amassing over 300 million streams.
In 2023, Blxst earned his first two GRAMMY Award nominations for his feature on Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers and continues to rise as one of hip-hop’s most influential voices.
In support of the new album, Blxst’s live shows showcase a new era for the West Coast artist, complete with special surprises and innovative performances. At The Fillmore Silver Spring, Joony surprised the audience with a special appearance by Jordan Ward (as you can see in the photos below). The two dropped their JRNY EP on Oct. 4!
