Disturbed recently brought absolute mayhem to the Capital One Arena — and man, what a show it was. It wasn’t just another stop on their 25th Anniversary Tour celebrating The Sickness — it felt like a full-circle moment for fans who’ve been riding with them since day one. The energy in the arena was unreal, packed wall-to-wall with people ready to throw down, scream their lungs out, and just feel the music.
Before Disturbed even took the stage on March 17, Sevendust and Three Days Grace had the crowd fired up. Sevendust came out swinging with their signature punch-you-in-the-face energy. Even for those who weren’t hardcore fans, it was impossible not to appreciate how tight they sounded, while warming the crowd up for the acts to follow.
Then Three Days Grace stepped up and took things even further. As soon as the opening chords of “I Hate Everything About You” rang out, the whole place erupted. These guys know how to work a crowd, and they made damn sure everyone was primed and ready for the main event.

Then it happened. The lights went out. That eerie, distorted voice from “Voices” filled the air, and lead singer Dave Draiman was wheeled out strapped to a gurney and wearing a Hannibal Lector style mask, as the entire arena lost its mind. Disturbed wasted zero time getting down to business, kicking off their set with a relentless assault of “The Game,” “Stupify,” and “Down with the Sickness.” Every note hit like a freight train, and David Draiman’s voice was just as powerful as ever, even though he told the crowd he had bronchitis and was fighting through it for them. The man is a metal machine!
Speaking of Draiman, the guy commanded the stage like a true metal frontman. He had the crowd hanging on every word, every growl, every pause. It’s wild to think it’s been 25 years since The Sickness dropped, yet these songs still hit just as hard — maybe even harder.

In the first set of the night, the band played the entire The Sickness album. Then after a 20-minute break, they returned to play their greatest hits from over their career.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Disturbed show without a few curve balls. In addition to their original material, Disturbed surprised fans with covers of “Shout 2000” by Tears for Fears and “Land of Confusion” by Genesis. They even threw in their hauntingly beautiful cover of “The Sound of Silence” by Simon & Garfunkel, giving the crowd a breather before launching right back into the heavy stuff.
The crowd was just as much a part of the experience as the band. Everywhere you looked, people were headbanging, moshing, screaming the lyrics like their lives depended on it. You could tell this show meant something to them — whether they’d been fans since 2000 or just discovered the band in recent years, everyone was there for the same reason: to celebrate The Sickness and everything it represents.
By the time the performance wrapped up, everyone was exhausted but buzzing with that post-concert high. The night wasn’t just a nostalgia trip — it was a reminder of why Disturbed has stood the test of time. They’re not just riding on their legacy; they’re proving, night after night, why they still own the stage.
If you weren’t there, you seriously missed out. But hey, if this tour is coming anywhere near you, do yourself a favor and go. This is one of those shows people are gonna be talking about for years.
