Jordana brought her Jordanaland tour to Richmond Music Hall recently, delivering an intimate performance that felt more like a gathering of friends than a formal concert. Fans chatted excitedly before the show, and when the lights dimmed, the room settled into a chill, happy atmosphere that carried through the entire set.

On March 26, the night opened with The Booyah Kids, who set the perfect tone before Jordana and her five-piece band took the stage. From the moment she appeared with her beautiful red hair framing her big smile, tattoos visible beneath a casual dress paired with knee-high boots, her presence was approachable and genuine. Jordana, a Maryland-born, LA–based artist, has been experimenting with her stage presence on this run, but what stood out most in Richmond was her sincerity. Her charisma carried the room, and her friendly, humble demeanor made it easy to connect with her.

Even when minor sound issues surfaced, Jordana filled the gaps with humor, keeping the crowd engaged. A standout moment came when she covered “You Get What You Give,” followed by “Wrong Love” and “Jordanaland,” which drew one of the loudest reactions of the night.

Watch the official music video for “Jordanaland” by Jordana on YouTube:

Despite recently canceling four shows due to bronchitis, Jordana sounded strong and confident. Her expressive voice handled challenging material with ease as she also moved between playing her guitar, tambourine and violin.

Jordanaland continues a growing catalog that includes her earlier full-length albums Classical Notions of Happiness (2019), Something to Say to You (2020), Face the Wall (2022), and Lively Premonition (2024). Over time, her music has evolved from breezy indie roots into something more layered and emotionally direct, exploring themes of love, vulnerability, and self-acceptance.

As this tour continues across the USA and into Europe, Richmond’s stop showed that Jordana is an artist confidently growing into her sound and stage presence.
