Dirty Honey always knows how to bring down the house, and their recent concert at the Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville, Virginia, was no exception.
From the moment the band hit The Jefferson stage on May 13, their energy was palpable. The crowd was on their feet, eager to rock out to every riff and lyric.
Touring in support of their new album, Can’t Find the Brakes, the band’s performance was electric, with lead vocalist Marc LaBelle’s stellar vocals captivating the audience from the first note. His stage presence was magnetic, commanding attention with every move.
Bassist Justin Smolian and drummer Jaydon Bean held down the rhythm section flawlessly, providing a solid foundation for Guitarist John Notto to shred through each song with precision and passion, delivering blistering solos that left the crowd in awe.
Highlights of the night included explosive renditions of their hits like “Heartbreaker” and “Rolling 7s,” new songs like “Can’t Find the Brakes“, “Won’t Take Me Alive,“ and “Get a Little High“ that had the crowd singing along the whole show.
Watch Dirty Honey perform “Heartbreaker” live for Suitcase Sessions on YouTube:
The boys played a killer cover of the Stones “Honky Tonk Women” along with a slinky new song called “Dirty Mind“ with huge grins on their faces.
At one point Marc even let slip that the show was being recorded, so hopefully there will be a live disc in our future, very soon!
Due to the crowd’s great enthusiasm throughout the show, Marc repeatedly said the band would definitely be back to play here again.
Dirty Honey delivered a high-octane performance that left everyone in the venue buzzing with excitement.
If you ever have the chance to catch them live, don’t miss out — they’re a force to be reckoned with on stage.
