With both amazing vocals and beautiful production, Tinashe recently put on a phenomenal show at The Anthem. The singer of viral songs “Nasty” and “2 On” presented a great show with a wonderful setlist and an opener that warmed the crowd up with her stunning melodies.
Tinashe first entered the entertainment industry as a young actress in the early 2000s. In Hollywood, she began pursuing music and released her first solo tracks in 2014. From there, she steadily grew in popularity while being featured on songs like “All My Friends” and “Jealous” in collaboration with big names such as Nick Jonas and Chance the Rapper. Since then, she has released eight additional solo albums and a plethora of singles.
In support of her most recent album, Quantum Baby, Tinashe is currently on her Match My Freak World Tour. She began her expedition in mid-October with a few stops in California. She’ll then tour the United States for nearly a month an a half, before looping back to California and finishing the USA leg of the tour in Sacramento. Later in the year and in early 2025, she’ll continue to Australia, Asia, and Europe for an additional 16 shows.

Raveena, an R&B experimental singer and songwriter has been accompanying Tinashe on her tour as opening support. Born to Punjabi immigrant parents, Raveena says that some of her musical influence was derived from growing up listening to Bollywood tracks and Indian artists. Raveena put on a mesmerizing performance, and had some of the best live vocals I have ever experienced. Her dedication to her craft could be sensed throughout the room, and she was a wonderful addition to Tinashe’s show.
Tinashe herself gave an incredible performance. Her production was flawless and every minute of her set was beyond engaging. In an intricately stunning outfit that reflected her personality and music perfectly, she simultaneously sang and danced with energy and passion. Her back up dancers were immensely talented, and tied the show together beautifully. Beyond having an exquisite voice, Tinashe truly made the performance feel personal, without sacrificing any factors of a high-value concert. She had a fitting stage set up, wonderfully designed lights, and a top-notch setlist, all while making the performance feel intimate.
