Bartees Strange is a traveling man right now, wrapping up tourdates in Europe before returning home for a big USA tour that launches in April.
These concerts are in support of his third studio album, Horror, released on Valentines Day by 4AD. The next day, Bartees performed at 9:30 Club and a few days later, NPR released a Tiny Desk Concert performance of songs from the album.
The NPR Tiny Desk Concert, recorded the previous month, was released on Feb. 18, featuring Bartees Strange in high spirits and strong voice as he rolled through four catchy R&B tracks from Horror. Accompanying Bartees were TK Johnson (drums), Graham Richman (guitar, keyboards), John Daisy (bass, synths), and Daniel Kleederman (guitars).
