Parklife DC invites our staff to list their Top 10 concerts of every year. Although this was a different kind of year, our love of music remained strong, and we definitely caught our share of shows once pandemic lockdowns eased. Some homegrown shows began popping up indoors around May, and events really made a remarkable return by August. Although we live with additional requirements, such as vaccinations, to attend live shows, we happily rise to the moment to do what we love to do — experience live music.

Live Review: Bleachers @ The Anthem — 9/24/21

“There is no cynicism in live music,” declared Jack Antonoff, adding, “We fucking missed you.”

And a sold-out audience at The Anthem clearly missed Jack, embracing the sincere narratives of new songs by Bleachers from album Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night in a recent life-affirming performance.

The fourth annual All Things Go Fall Classic, DC’s foremost local indie pop music festival, expands to three days this year, Oct. 6-8, 2017, offering one-day lineups on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as well as a three-day pass. With a move to Union Market (1309 5th St. NE, DC), All Things Go Fall Classic features headliners Foster the People, Young Thug, and Galantis.
