Around Town: Day of the Dog @ Congressional Cemetery, 5/7/16

This Saturday is the 4th Annual Day of the Dog at the Congressional Cemetery.

There is a 5K Race and Fun Run available in the morning. Register here.

Then there will be activities for people and their pups, along with food trucks and beer. Towards the end of the celebration, there will be a raffle with plenty of prizes.

There will also be a tour of the Congressional Cemetery, a place I’ve always meant to visit but haven’t made it yet.

In previous years, guests were able to pet alpacas, play with robots, learn indigenous dances, try new cuisines, and more. Come see the world through the embassies of our global neighbors.

See tips on getting around.
