DC was the final stop for Virginia Beach natives Turnover and Canadian indie band Men I Trust. It was a slightly emotional moment for both bands to finish an amazing run in the United States.

Swedish chanteuse Lykke Li released her excellent album, So Sad So Sexy, in June and after a summer of performing at festivals all over Europe, began her US tour Friday night at the Lincoln Theater. The show understandably focused on her most recent work, with nine of the album’s 10 songs performed over the evening.

Lykke Li released So Sad So Sexy, her fourth studio album, via RCA Records on June 8, and now she performs at the Lincoln Theatre on Friday, Oct. 5.
