A$AP Mob rolled into DC to play a high-energy show at Echostage on Thursday, following the release of Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy, their second studio album, on Aug. 25 via A$AP Worldwide, Polo Grounds Music, and RCA Records. Parklife DC’s Chris Castillo was there to capture a lot of pix!
The New York rap collective rarely perform together in one space, but A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Twelvyy, and others joined forces for the sweeping Too Cozy Tour to play their new songs. According to Setlist.fm, recent setlists have seen A$AP Mob open with “Yamborghini High” from Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends. The Mob perform other R&B hits including “Telephone Calls,” “Hella Hoes,” and “RAF” — the latter from the new album, Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy.
Released earlier this year, the Mob’s first single off the album “RAF,” featuring A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, Quavo, Lil Uzi Vert, and Frank Ocean, arrived to critical acclaim and has now reached more than 65 million combined audio streams and video views worldwide across all digital platforms.
A$AP Mob is taking a break from touring, but the Too Cozy Tour resumes on Oct. 11 in Chicago! It all wraps up on Nov. 3 in Broomfield, Colorado. Be there.
