Canadian DJ/producer REZZ, born Isabelle Rezazadeh, is on her Mass Manipulation Tour, which visits Echostage in DC on Saturday, Sept. 30. The tour follows the release of Mass Manipulation, her debut album, on Aug. 4 via mau5trap Recordings (deadmau5’s label).
A$AP Mob released Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy, their second studio album, on Aug. 25 via A$AP Worldwide, Polo Grounds Music, and RCA Records. The New York rap collective rarely perform together in one space, but A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Twelvyy, and others have joined forces for the sweeping Too Cozy Tour to play their new songs with a stop at Echostage on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
The 24-year-old Moldovan maestro Andrei Rață, better known as Andrew Rayel, dropped by Echostage on June 9, and I was there to catch the action.
Recently, our focus is locked in on the talented producer and disc jockey, Abraham Laguna, better known as Ookay. The talented Ookay started making high energy house beats while he was attending community college under the name “Leisure.” He has since transitioned into his current moniker releasing consecutive bass hits, trap after trap!
