Kennedy Ashlyn, formerly of Them Are Us Too, lost her bandmate and partner in the Ghost Ship warehouse fire of 2016. Recently, she started a new project, calling it SRSQ, and she released an album, Unreality. SRSQ visited Songbyrd Music House recently, and Paivi shot the show.

During the show, SRSQ performed appropriately ghostly songs like “Prelude” and “Cherish” from the debut record.

Kennedy also performed songs by Them Are Us Too, notably the title track of Amends, an album released last year as a dedication to the memory of Cash Askew.
