Baltimore’s Hidden Volume Records proudly presents the debut from DC’s Teen Cobra! The punk duo also released a music video for “Girl of Mine,” the lead single from Social Piranha, the band’s debut EP.

Social Piranha is a six song 7” EP with all tracks clocking in somewhere between :58 and 1:14. But don’t let the brevity fool you — each of these brief songs is a complete, overdriven garage punk anthem, full of humalong melodies and earworm choruses with more than a dose of scuzz.

Husband/wife duo Neil and Veronica keep it short and sweet, the way the lord intended.

The first video for Teen Cobra’s Social Piranha lead track “Girl of Mine,” directed by Andy Zielinski, features locations around DC frequented by the band.

The EP is an edition of 300 copies on assorted-colored vinyl with hand-stamped labels. The first 100 come with a mini zine and sticker pack. The album is co-produced by Al Budd (The Shirks, The Problematics) and mixed by Matt Clarke (The Above, The Elevator Operators) with design by Hi-Vo’s own Scott Sugiuchi.
