The highly anticipated Re:SET Festival is traveling the country, and it lands at Merriweather Post Pavilion for three days on Friday, June 16, Saturday, June 17, and Sunday, June 18!

LCD Soundsystem headlines the third and final day of the festival! The rest of the Day 3 lineup includes Jamie xx, IDLES, and L’Rain.

You can win tickets to attend Re:SET Festival Day 3 at Merriweather Post Pavilion with Parklife DC!

Promoted by The Bowery Presents, Re:SET was conceived as an artist and fan-friendly alternative to the standard summer concert experience. Taking place over four weekends in the month of June, each weekend will see three cities in the same region hosting, with each Re:SET headliner playing each city on consecutive days. Fans get a leisurely day that features full sets from every artist, on one stage with no conflicts.

LCD Soundsystem last released their fourth LP and first No. 1 album, American Dream, in 2017. James Murphy founded LCD Soundsystem in 2002, releasing the classic 12-inch single “Losing My Edge,” a relentless groove topped with a monologue cataloging the trendsetting bands and rare records discovered by its protagonist in his younger, cooler prime. LCD’s self-titled debut album followed in 2005. 2007’s Grammy-nominated Sound of Silver became the most critically acclaimed album of that year on the strength of the anthemic “All My Friends” as well as “Someone Great,” “Get Innocuous!,” and “New York, I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down.” Featuring “Dance Yrself Clean,” “I Can Change” and “Home,” LCD Soundsystem’s third album, 2010’s This is Happening was the band’s first to break the US Top 10.

In 2022, LCD Soundsystem released “new body rhumba,” its first new song in five years. “new body rhumba” was written for Noah Baumbach’s White Noise. “new body rhumba” was written by James Murphy, Pat Mahoney, and Nancy Whang, and produced by James Murphy for DFA Productions.

  1. I’d love to see LCD Soundsystem! They were in my bucket list many years again and thought I would never get a chance again.

  2. Seeing LCD Soundsystem at Merriweather would be genuinely incredible! My partner and I have so many memories together where LCD Soundsystem played a big role (including seeing a show of theirs in Brooklyn the night we got engaged!!) so would love to get to go to ReSET!

  3. You should cut down on your Parklife mate, get some exercise!

Dying to win these tickets!! For me and my Bestest Cati (she knows who she is)
