Singer-songwriter Jason Mark released Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride, his eighth studio album, via Interrabang and BMG in June, and he’s on tour to play those new songs!

Jason performed recently at The Filene Center at Wolf Trap, and Steve Satzberg was there to photograph him!

At Wolf Trap on August 6, Mraz dedicated about a third of his show to the new album, opening with “Getting Started” and closing the main set with “I Feel Like Dancing.” At the show’s midpoint, he played the delightfully soulful “Pancakes & Butter,” a standout track from the latest record. He released a clever video for it earlier this year.

In his encore, Jason hit the new track “You Might Like It” and closed everything out with an old favorite — “Common Pleasure” from his 1999 EP, A Jason Mraz Demonstration.
