Travis Scott recently set Baltimore on fire with his Utopia Tour Presents Circus Maximus, proving why he is known as La Flame. The sold-out crowd at CFG Bank Arena was in for a wild ride, even experiencing two power outages that couldn’t handle the heat of the performance.
As a first-time attendee of a Travis Scott concert, I was blown away by the experience at CFG Bank Arena on Dec. 6. Strangers became instant friends, locking arms and high-fiving whenever their favorite songs like “Sicko Mode,” “HYAENA,” and “Topia Twins” were performed. The stage itself was a spectacle, reminiscent of the TV show “Legends of the Hidden Temple,” with face carvings in the rocks resembling ancient statues.

Travis’ 2023 stadium tour follows the release of Utopia, his fourth studio album, dropped in July by Cactus Jack and Epic Records.
One of the standout moments of the night was when two lucky fans were chosen from the crowd to ride a massive figure around the arena while Travis performed two songs. It was an exhilarating sight, and the energy from the crowd matched Travis’ infectious vibe. The repeated performance of “Fe!n” only added to the excitement, with flames and sparks shooting off in every direction.
Travis Scott’s performance was a true spectacle, bringing people together and igniting a fire within the crowd. Baltimore witnessed the power of La Flame, and I can confidently say that this was one of the liveliest crowds I have seen this year.
