With amazing vocals and unmatched passion for his art, Post Malone recently lit up Northwest Stadium (quite literally, with flames and fireworks galore). The crowd arrived excited and eager and left with even more energy, having enjoyed a night filled with fan-favorite hits, emotional tracks, and new top-charters from Post Malone’s new country-inspired album.
From the moment Post Malone walked on stage, drink in hand and a smile on his face, it was obvious that the night was going to be unforgettable.
Post Malone had his big break in 2015, when “White Iverson” launched him into fame. Since then, he has become an artist that appeals to a drastically wide audience. He blends rap, rock, pop, and country effortlessly throughout the discography, all while putting his own unique twist on each. With five albums released and collaborations with artists across various genres, it’s clear Post has established his own place in music.
This tour, the F-1 Trillion Tour, supports his latest album, and it is his first headlining stadium tour. Traveling with him was the southern rapper and songwriter, Jelly Roll, who was able to harness the crowd’s energy immaculately prior to Post’s set at Northwest Stadium on June 2.
When the lights finally dimmed and Post Malone stepped out, the crowd erupted. He kicked off the show with “Texas Tea,” and from there, while his set fluctuated between slower and more upbeat songs, it was non-stop fun. His setlist hit all the right notes — classic favorites, emotional pieces, and new tracks from F-1 Trillion that sounded even better live than they do recorded. “Feeling Whitney” has been a favorite of mine for a few years, and his performance of that song quickly became one of my favorite parts of the evening. With phone flashlights gleaming throughout the sold-out crowd and the acoustic strumming of his guitar radiating through the speakers, despite being among tens of thousands of people, the moment was extremely intimate.

What makes a Post Malone show so enjoyable is how energetic it truly feels. I’ve had the pleasure of watching dozens of live performances, and Post Malone still ranks No. 1 as my favorite people to watch live. He has nothing to share but smiles and love during his sets, and it’s incredibly clear that he brings his all each and every night, and he is fully devoted to the crowd in front of him as he performs.
Visually, the show was unmatched. From the first song all the way through to the finale, there were bursts of fire, fireworks, neon lights, and visuals that matched the mood of each song with stunning cohesion.
