Katy Perry is touring globally and in full force again on a summer world tour and recently played the CFG Arena in Baltimore to a sold-out performance. Her current tour, titled The Lifetimes Tour, is arguably the biggest dance-oriented show of the season.

Perry is a major force in the music world and fully displays why as she sings and dances non-stop during this year’s concert experience.

As seen at CFG Bank Arena on August 15, Perry is in great form on this tour and is highlighting the songs and music that has made up her extremely successful career the last two decades or more. Fans in attendance were singing along at the top of their voices from the very beginning to the very end of the concert, as Perry took them down memory lane with her biggest hits, which featured fantastic choreography in an oval-8 dance set-up. People couldn’t help but get up out of their seats and dance the night away in response to Perry’s infectious energy.

Perry sounded fantastic and danced and ran around the oval-8 sometimes at full speed throughout the performance. The concert featured Perry classics, such as “Dark Horse,” “Chained to the Rhythm,” “Hot N Cold,” “Crush,” “Wide Awake,” “The One that Got Away,” “Lifetimes,” “I Kissed a Girl,” “Roar,” and “Firework.”

Watch the official music video for “Firework” by Katy Perry on YouTube:

Katy Perry did not disappoint as she sang, danced, and changed costumes routinely. Perry changed costumes often, and at times ran around the figure-8 stage, highlighting that she’s in really great shape!

Perry provided fans the chance to not only see her in person but to experience her major hits thus far. Perry sang and danced most of her major songs throughout the concert, but some of the real highlights were “I Kissed a Girl” (huge fan reaction) to “Roar” and then finally closing out the evening with a great version of “Firework”.

Rebecca Black opened the show in Baltimore with a 40-minute dance-oriented set that included her signature song “Friday,” which was released back in 2011 and has been certified Gold by RIAA. Black was excellent from the beginning to the end of her set with outstanding vocals and energy that provided the arena with much needed initial buzz. Black’s glitz and glamour that helped create the spectacular atmosphere inside CFG Arena that would carry forth to Perry’s set in incredible fashion. Black had total control of the stage whether singing or dancing alone, or with a group of singers utilized to highlight her set.

Katy Perry has been a major force in the global music scene over the last 20 years, has sold millions of records, and played a Superbowl halftime show, which was one of the most viewed halftime shows in history. If you have not seen her live, this is a great opportunity to do so and catch her in great form while playing the songs that have inspired millions of fans around the globe the last several years.
