DaBaby Lit Up The Fillmore For the Be More Grateful Tour
H3adband, Bri3, and Zeddy Will set the pace early, then DaBaby took it over with nonstop momentum, confetti bursts, and two crowd peaks that shook the room.

On April 12 at The Fillmore Silver Spring, DaBaby’s Be More Grateful Tour felt like one of those nights where the room is already charged before the headliner even hits the stage. The Fillmore is naturally tight and loud when it’s full, but this crowd came in ready to participate, not wait around. Phones were up, voices were up, and from the first opener on, the energy stayed in motion.
The order of the lineup mattered. H3adband opened the night and immediately pushed the room to respond. It wasn’t a slow warmup set. It was straight crowd control, the kind that makes people in the back stop talking and start paying attention. You could feel the floor lock in early, like everyone understood this was going to be a fast moving show.
Bri3 followed and kept the pace up without letting it dip. The set felt confident and direct, built for a live room where you only get a short window to make an impression. Even in the moments between songs, the crowd stayed loud, and that’s usually the best sign that an opener is doing their job. People weren’t treating the set like filler. They were responding in real time.

Then Zeddy Will came out and pushed the room into that “everybody is moving at once” mode. His energy translated perfectly in a venue like The Fillmore, where the crowd is close enough to feed the stage and the stage is close enough to feel like it’s in the crowd. The response was immediate. By the time his set wrapped, the room was already warmed through, and it felt like people were bracing for the headliner instead of cooling off.
When DaBaby hit, the venue got even tighter. His performance style is all pacing and pressure. Quick transitions, no dead time, no long pauses that let the crowd reset. He performed like he wanted the room to keep up with him, and the crowd did. The Be More Grateful Tour stop in Silver Spring wasn’t built around one dramatic slow moment. It was built around momentum, and DaBaby kept it moving the entire way through.
The biggest crowd moment of the night was “POP DAT THANG.” The second it started, the floor jumped. The room got louder, phones shot up again, and people rapped it like they had been waiting all night for that exact beat to drop. It wasn’t just a singalong. It was a full crowd takeover, the kind where you can barely hear the artist for a few bars because the audience is doing the hook at full volume.

The other peak didn’t even need a song. When DaBaby took his shirt off, the reaction was instant. The scream level spiked, the front surged, and you could feel the crowd energy shift up another notch. Moments like that always sound simple on paper, but live, in a packed venue, it’s a real reset point. It’s the reminder that the performance isn’t just the music, it’s the room reacting to the artist in real time.
Visually, the confetti pop was one of the cleanest production touches of the night. In a venue like The Fillmore, confetti doesn’t just look cool, it changes the atmosphere for a moment. With the lights hitting it and the crowd already moving, it gave the set a bigger feel without needing a massive stage build. It was quick, it was effective, and it matched the energy of the show.
Overall, the April 12 stop worked because it was built right. H3adband, Bri3, and Zeddy Will set the pace in the right order, and DaBaby came out and kept the crowd locked from start to finish. The Be More Grateful Tour at The Fillmore Silver Spring felt tight, loud, and nonstop, the kind of show where the biggest moments aren’t just the songs, they’re the way the room reacts when everything hits at once.
