Clara Christensen, who goes by the professional name of Cobrah, the electronic/dance musician from Gothenburg, Sweden, put on a great night of electronica music, song and dance at 9:30 Club on her 2026 Torn Tour of the USA. The tour is in support of her current album Torn, which is receiving great reviews.
The lighting for the show was sensational and the vibe pulsating throughout the night of riveting dance music and vocals by Cobrah on May 7. The dancing by Cobrah and her two dancers were some of the best high-energized dancing I have seen in concert in some time.
Her style of music, which may be considered by some as hyperpop is extremely popular, and the fans at 9:30 Club’s near sold-out performance were dancing and singing non-stop during the performance. Cobrah has been performing professionally about 8 years now and was nominated for video of the year back in 2018 for “IDFKA” and is currently nominated for her song “Hush” for the Most Bizarre Award from the Berlin Music Awards.
DJ Latex put on an opening two-hour show, before Cobrah and her other two dancers began their performance to nearly non-stop dancing throughout the evening. They did stop for a pause from time to time as Cobrah addressed the crowd and was thankful to be touring in Washington, DC.
Cobrah and dancers took the stage and played three opening songs, “Hit Girl”, “IG”, and “Hush” that lasted nearly 20 minutes but helped set the tone and pace for the night of great music and dance.

If you have not seen Cobrah in concert before, this is a must-see show. It’s truly a night of provocative, sexual and hypnotic lyrics that visually stuns you at times; while making you dance in unison to the upbeat tempos throughout the show.
Near the end of the show Cobrah did “Brand New Bitch” which I felt was one of the best songs of the evening featuring great raging lyrics as well as being a very catchy dance tune. The tracks she played from “Torn” worked great and gave the audience a great review of the new album.
Cobrah finished the outrageous night of dance and music in sensational form with “Feminine Energy” and “Good Puss.”
Cobrah has been touring the USA recently and played a great set at Coachella and is now returning to Europe where she will begin the new leg of her tour.
The show was outstanding and should be on anyone’s list to see that enjoys electronic pop and dance music.
