Reggie and the Full Effect, helmed by James Dewees (also keyboardist for The Get Up Kids, is coming to town to open for The Aquabats in what is sure to be a very energetic show at The Fillmore Silver Spring on Friday, July 21.
Joined on the road by four other guys, James is currently signed to Pure Noise Records, which released their last album No Country for Old Musicians in 2013. James recorded No Country for Old Musicians at Black Lodge Recording Studios in Eudora, Kansas, making it the last album ever recorded at the studios with James’ longtime collaborator/producer Ed Rose.

James published No Country for Old Musicians, his sixth studio album as Reggie and the Full Effect, with Pure Noise after a successful Kickstarter campaign. With a deep catalog of frenetic post-hardcore and emo tracks, Reggie and the Full Effect are bound to serve as a wildly entertaining opener for The Aquabats on Friday.
