Rising Baltimore pop-punk band AITA recently performed live at Pearl Street Warehouse, and Steve Satzberg was there to photograph the show.

The following release is adapted from a press release.

Founded by lead vocalist Patricia Bryan Ramón and drummer Josh Bosse, AITA also includes guitarists Elijah Busse and Gavin Norman plus bassist Justin Kuhl. The name “AITA” humorously originates from “Am I The A**hole?,” taken from the vibe of pop‑punk lyrics and irreverent style.

AITA is a high‑energy, community-driven pop-punk band from Baltimore, built around powerful melodies, vibrant performances, and DIY spirit. They’re carving out their place in the regional punk scene and expanding with their distinctive Charm‑City authenticity.

AITI released their debut album Promises on Jan. 1!

ATIA were joined at Pearl Street Warehouse by Keep Your Secrets, Old Knife, and Kings of the Wild Things for a pop-punk punch in the face on July 18.

Keep Your Secrets is one of Washington, DC’s best kept secrets in alternative music. Inspired by artists like Four Year Strong, Paramore, and Sleeping With Sirens, Keep Your Secrets started out in 2020 as a duo making YouTube covers. After gaining traction on social media, the group evolved into a full band making original music. Keep Your Secrets’ melodic, heavy, and production-dense music carries “the weight of 1,000 suns,” in the words of The Wonder Years’ Casey Cavaliere.

Watch Keep Your Secrets perform “fake.” live on YouTube:

Old Knife is a DC-flavored post-punk power trio featuring Maddie Franca on bass, Ella Gallogly (Lud Roes) on drums, and VJ Hyde on guitar and vocals. Fans of Built to Spill, Fugazi, and Jawbox are quick to add Old Knife to their roster of favorite bands. Old Knife has been enlisting the help of local ASL interpreters during their kinetic live shows to help increase accessibility in the DMV’s punk/hardcore scene. Be warned: Old Knife will cut you and leave a scar.

As for Kings Of The Wild Things, we are assured via press release that they are “MD pop punk or something!”
