The Struts recently closed out their Pretty Vicious Tour in spectacular fashion at XL Live in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The electrifying band delivered a memorable final show packed with crowd favorites and powered by their trademark intense stage energy.

The Struts are a British rock band that formed in 2012. Lead vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies together generate the band’s signature glam-rock flair with a punchy, modern twist.

The band have released four studio albums, two live albums and two EPs. They’ve currently been touring the world to support their latest studio album, Pretty Vicious, the band’s first release through Big Machine Records.

At the beginning of the XL Live show on Oct. 29, drummer Gethin Davies strode onto the stage with a beer in his hand and a giant smile on his face, obviously happy to see the packed house of eager fans. He was joined by bassist Jed Elliott and guitarist Adam Slack.

The Struts are lead by their very charismatic and highly energetic vocalist Luke Spiller. With his signature flamboyant style, some have described him as “the musical love child of Freddie Mercury and Mick Jagger” and he definitely has moves like Jagger and a soaring, wonderful voice like Mercury.

Their setlist for the evening, mixed well-loved classics like “Primadonna Like Me,” “Put Your Money on Me” and “Kiss This” with newer hits from their Pretty Vicious album, including “Too Good at Raising Hell” and the titular “Pretty Vicious.”

Watch the official music video for “Too Good at Raising Hell” by The Struts on YouTube:

At one point during the evening, the guys stopped the show in order to have a fan come on stage and play drums for the song “Rockstar.” The very talented young lady was definitely ready for prime time and drew big cheers from the packed house throughout her spot on drumming during the song.

The Struts combination of flamboyant stage presence, relentless energy, and anthemic sing-alongs with the enthusiastic fans made for a fun, exciting evening of rock and roll.

Check them out the next time they come to your town, you’ll definitely enjoy the party.
