Swallow the Sun is a Finnish doom metal band currently touring United States with Sonata Arctica, Dark Tranquillity, Leaves’ Eyes, Omnium Gatherum, Enforcer and Starkill. The bands performed at The Fillmore Silver Spring on Monday, Nov. 7.

You read that right: 7 bands in one bill and all except Leaves’ Eyes and  Starkill are from Finland or Sweden.

The tour finishes in Texas in December but Swallow the Sun is coming back to DC area next spring to tour with another Finnish metal outfit called Amorphis. The scheduled date is March 8 at Howard Theatre. Buy tickets for the upcoming show here!
