In about a month, noise pop septet Los Campesinos! will launch a US tour to promote their sixth studio album, Sick Scenes. The UK collective will release Sick Scenes via Wichita Recordings on Feb. 24, and their tour will take them to the 9:30 Club soon after on Thursday, March 9.
On Monday, Los Campesinos! released the second single from the upcoming album — a track called “5 Flucloxacillin,” named after an antibiotic.
“The song is a warm one, buoyed by hand-claps and rhythmic harmonies that echo the radio pop-rock of the mid-to-late ‘90s,” said Consequence of Sound in assessing the song.

Been a fan for years, gotta love “Death to Los Campesinos!”

By Your Hand or Baby, I Got the Death Rattle!
I can’t not go with Avocado, Baby!
ah so hard to chose one favorite LC! song… maybe “death to los campesinos!” or “songs about your girlfriend”
Choosing a favorite LC! song is really difficult. I would say, “Avocado, Baby” is my favorite at the moment but I think it might be replaced by a song on the new album.
You, Me, Dancing. Best. Intro. Ever!
My favorite song from them is You! Me! Dancing! It gets me really emotional everytime I listen to it and it’s the song that was playing when I had my first kiss
Yeh, “You! Me! Dancing!” is such a great song, I’m not going to pretend that there is another one I would rather hear.
