A$AP Mob released Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy, their second studio album, on Aug. 25 via A$AP Worldwide, Polo Grounds Music, and RCA Records. The New York rap collective rarely perform together in one space, but A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Twelvyy, and others have joined forces for the sweeping Too Cozy Tour to play their new songs with a stop at Echostage on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Released earlier this year, the Mob’s first single off the album “RAF,” featuring A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, Quavo, Lil Uzi Vert, and Frank Ocean, arrived to critical acclaim and has now reached more than 65 million combined audio streams and video views worldwide across all digital platforms. Last month, A$AP Mob released a new video for “Feels So Good.”

“Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy brings to mind a small gathering that turns into a Project X style rager. They upped the ante from Vol. 1, inviting almost every single affiliate and a few surprise guests to the party with even more songs on the tracklist. When it works, it works well,” said Greg Whitt in a review for Consequence of Sound.
A$AP Mob dominated new music releases in August. Not only did the group drop its own album, but A$AP Twelvyy released a debut album 12. Also in August, A$AP Ferg dropped his new mega-mixtape Still Striving, a follow-up to his 2016 album Always Strive and Prosper.
The 19-city Too Cozy Tour begins Sept. 23 in Lowell, Massachusetts, and ends Nov. 3 in Broomfield, Colorado.
