Rocker Brian Setzer celebrated two anniversaries this year! It’s the 25th anniversary for The Brian Setzer Orchestra (BSO), whose self-titled debut album launched their beginnings with the song “Lady Luck.” And it’s also the 14th anniversary of the BSO Christmas Tour! The Orchestra brings their Christmas Tour to Warner Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 25, and remarkably there are a few tickets left.
Brian commented on the milestone anniversary for The Brian Setzer Orchestra, saying, “Well, when I started playing with The Stray Cats, I was taking this outdated music that most people hadn’t heard of, and I just loved the feel and the rawness of it. And [that music] moved The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, too. I dusted it off and I kinda put my stamp on it. And when I wanted to try another musical idea and put BSO together, people just laughed at me. It feels like I’ve taken this monumental, impossible task and have been able to do this for 25 years. It’s an incredible feeling.”
And BSO really delivers the Christmas spirit, as you can hear for yourself. Watch the official music video for “Jingle Bells” by The Brian Setzer Orchestra on YouTube:

The Christmas Tour includes music from BSO’s holiday hits collections, including Boogie Woogie Christmas (2002), Dig That Crazy Christmas (2005), and Rockin’ Rudolph (2015). The latest collection, the first BSO Christmas album in 10 years, features favorites like “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” and more.
