Imogen Heap released her last full-length record in 2014 and in recent years, she has released several singles. The lack of a new record has not dulled the enthusiasm of her fans however: Imogen quickly sold out a night at the Lincoln Theatre in DC, and added a second night on Saturday, May 4.

Based in London, Imogen blurs the boundaries between pure art form and creative entrepreneurship. Writing and producing four solo albums, one as Frou Frou (with Guy Sigsworth), and collaborating with Jeff Beck, Mika, and Josh Groban, amongst others, she has written music for movies and TV shows. She also produced the score for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, winning the Outstanding Music in a Play Drama Desk Award.

Counting five Grammy nominations, winning one for engineering and another for her contribution to Taylor Swift’s 1989, Imogen also received an Ivor Novello Award, The Artist and Manager Pioneer Award, the MPG Inspiration Award, and an honorary Doctorate of Technology for her MI.MU gloves work: a ground-breaking gestural music making system. Whew!

Watch the official music video for “She Knows” by Imogen Heap on YouTube:

In 2014, Imogen envisioned a flourishing music industry ecosystem through Mycelia and released “Tiny Human,” the first song to use smart contracts on a blockchain. In September 2018, Imogen embarked on a year-long music and technology world tour. This is that tour! There is nothing this woman cannot do! You must see her while you can!
