Dentist, our new favorite surf-garage band, recently released a Christmas song, covering “Mele Kalikimaka,” written by Robert Alex Anderson and famously covered by Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters.

Hailing from Asbury Park, New Jersey, Dentist are Emily Bornemann, Justin Bornemann, and Matt Hockenjos. The trio totally killed it opening for fellow Jersey band Brick + Mortar at DC9 back in September.

How perfect is it that the surf rockers have covered the sunniest Christmas song of all? Pretty perfect. Dentist hopefully will tour again soon, but the band has a block party show scheduled in Wilmington, Delaware, on Jan. 11.
