My Kid Brother recently signed to Fearless Records and released new music in March — then the coronavirus pandemic struck! So, the band hasn’t had a lot of opportunity to play their new songs live.

But Jammin’ Java comes to the rescue with “A Song & A Slice: A Socially Distanced Outdoor Concert Series,” and My Kid Brother performs there on Saturday, June 27!

The show is free but suggested donations go to support Black Lives Matter DC. What a great opportunity then to hear new tunes from these local indie rockers.

My Kid Brother is an independent rock band from Leesburg, Virginia, formed in 2016. They pride themselves in high-energy live performances and a genuine connection to the listener through honest lyricism and unique song structure.

The quintet consists of Christian Neonakis (vocals, guitar), Piano Whitman (keyboard, vocals), Sam Athanas (drums), Dylan Savopolous (guitar), and Richard Smith (bass).

Please join Jammin’ Java for its first outdoor concerts this summer, and help support some great causes! These are suggested donation shows, each benefitting a different cause chosen by the artist. The donations as well as $1 from every beer sold will go to those causes.

This series is here to celebrate the opening of Union Pie at Jammin’ Java, the venue’s newest pizza shop! Enjoy thin-crust pizza, loaded fries, salads, drinks, and cocktails in outdoor seating and limited-capacity indoor seating. Jammin’ Java serves food and drinks through the show.

Please wear a mask at all times to respect the distance to the people around you.
