The Revivalists, an eight-piece outfit from New Orleans, recently sold out The Anthem in as part of the band’s ambitious Into the Stars Tour, and Parklife was there to take it in.
The Revivalists’ Into the Stars Tour kicked off with a sold-out show at The Anthem on Feb. 29, marking the band’s second year in a row selling out the venue. The tour will continue to bring the band to major cities across the country including a hometown show at The Fillmore following their appearance at Jazz Fest in New Orleans and a return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 12 for the third consecutive year after selling out their headline shows at the famed venue in 2018 and 2019.
Recently, The Revivalists surprised fans with the release of their Made in Muscle Shoals live studio EP featuring brilliant re-imaginings of the band’s hit singles “Oh No,” “You & I,” “Change,” and “All My Friends” from their latest studio album, Take Good Care (Loma Vista Recordings), as well as a soulful rendition of The Bee Gees’ “To Love Somebody,” a gorgeous stripped down piano-and-vocal take of their platinum-selling hit “Wish I Knew You,” and a brand new song “Bitter End.”
