Psychedelic rockers Dead & Company visit Jiffy Lube Live in Virginia on Wednesday, Aug. 18, for a stop on their What a Long Strange Trip Its Been Tour.
Dead & Company will get back on the road this summer with a batch of 2021 tour dates. The 31-date run will mark the Grateful Dead offshoot’s first shows since Jan. 19, 2020, when guitarist/vocalist Bob Weir, drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, guitarist/vocalist John Mayer, bassist/vocalist Oteil Burbridge, and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti wrapped up a sold-out weekend event in Mexico.
The tour will kick off on Aug. 16 in Raleigh, NC, before landing at Jiffy Lube Live only two days later.

Dead & Company will once again offer a variety of enhanced experience packages including amenities like Loose Lucy’s Lounge access, early venue entry to branded lawn chairs, and limited-edition screen-printed posters, paired with premium concert tickets. Travel Packages that bundle concert tickets with local accommodations will also be available.
The band also will require vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID test result for all attendees at all venues.
Said Dead & Company in a statement, “We care so much about everyone involved in making this tour happen & all of you attending, so we will be requiring proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or negative test result within 48hrs of your event to attend select dates of the tour.”
They added, “Additionally, all fans in the pit for each show must be fully vaccinated.”
