If you are like me, you like to drink beer.
If you like to drink beer, why not sample as much as possible in one go?
DC has had its fair share of beer festivals in the past few years. From Savor to Snalleygaster to the almost weekly fests during Summer and Fall, DC is always ready to sample.
So get ready for November.
For my money, I want to hoist many 2 ounce pours at the DC Craft Beerfest on November 22nd.
The others may hold promise. Sample away!
DC Beer Festival – November 8
Held at Nationals Park, over 75 breweries will tap their beers just for you. Almost all the local DC breweries will be found, along with the new Denizens Brewing Company in Silver Spring, MD.
International Beer Fest – Drink the World – November 14 and 15

Held at DAR Constitution Hall, this festival is a passport to world beers, without all the hassle of leaving the country. The beer list is heavy on brews from Belgium and Germany, and many of the others are found locally, but there appears to be a few worth trying. At minimum, find one you like and drink all of it.
DC Craft Beerfest – November 22

Held at the Washington Convention Center, this festival calls itself Winter Harvest. Here you will dig into a cornucopia of seasonal winter beers. Many winter ales have a high ABV %, so expect to feel the joy of the holidays early and often. 75 breweries will tempt you with 150 beers, ciders or flagons of mead.
And if you do like cider, maybe this will float your boat?
