The Ocean Blue treated their fans to dreampop melodies at a sold-out Union Stage in DC on Friday night. Although The Ocean Blue are best known from their earlier hits in the late ’80s and early ’90s, the band has just finished recording a new album, and they ventured out on a short five-city tour in support of their new material.

Rams Head Live in Baltimore came alive this past Tuesday night as Tremonti rocked the venue along with headlining performance by Seether. It was a full house at Rams Head and it was clear that a lot of people were interested in seeing Tremonti perform!

The Rock & Roll Express Tour rolled through Baltimore on Tuesday! This tour featured headliners 3 Doors Down with Collective Soul — and together they rocked the MECU Pavilion on a rather stormy evening.

The Old 97’s stopped by the 9:30 Club on Friday night, and they brought a taste of Austin, Texas to D.C.! Rhett Miller and the boys entertained a full house of fans by performing nonstop energetic hits! Shantel Breen went to the show to take part in the excitement.

Formed in 2004, indie rockers, Cold War Kids, from Long Beach California, are still going strong. Following an appearance at the Firefly Festival, Cold War Kids stopped by Rams Head Live in Baltimore on Sunday, and Shantel Breen went to check out the show.

The 8×10 in Baltimore came alive this past Thursday! Marco Benevento delivered a non-stop, high energy performance to an enthusiastic crowd, making it one of my top shows this year to date.

The Front Bottoms returned to the area performing a two-part set that included three of their releases played in their entirety. When I arrived at Baltimore Soundstage this past Wednesday for The Front Bottoms show, the line was wrapped around the building. Fans formed a line at least three hours before doors so they would be front and center for this performance! There is no denying that The Front Bottoms have a solid fanbase.
