UK indie rockers The Wombats will release Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life, their fourth studio album, on Feb. 9, 2018, via Kobalt Records. On the way to their record release, the band will tour with a stop at 9:30 Club on Monday, Jan. 8! You can win tickets to see them with Parklife DC.

A few weeks ago, The Wombats released “Lemon to a Knife Fight” from the new album. Finn Keenan, who directed the video, said, “The idea for this video came from the line in the brief ‘David Lynch meets Power Rangers’. I wanted to make something that started off dark, surreal and little bit disturbing but then flip it on its head with a big ole’ twist that led to a ludicrous ending. These hunters do this every month, but this time they picked the wrong werewolf.”

  1. I’ve always liked the name, but I am not familiar with their music beyond “Lemon to a Knife Fight”.

  2. Jump into the fog was a song I had on repeat most of my sophomore year of high school which was probably the greatest time of my life. I was just starting to get into British indie music and this song meant a whole lot to me.
