Sleigh Bells recently released Kid Kruschev, a new EP, on their own label, Torn Clean. The Brooklyn noise poppers are performing at 9:30 Club on Valentine’s Day, and you can win tickets to go with Parklife DC!

Vocalist Alexis Krauss and guitarist Derek Miller recently kicked off a US tour, which stops at 9:30 Club on Wednesday, Feb. 14. The band published Kid Kruschev about a year after their fourth full-length album, Jessica Rabbit, and it finds them in a reflective mood. Frankly, it feels like the sky fell, Derek said in discussing the EP.

“Like everyone else, Sleigh Bells are feeling the weight of the world in 2017. Their lean new mini-album has more thematic cohesion than their previous releases and also a surprising tenderness,” said Pitchfork upon Kid Kruschev’s release.
